Bob S: If the gun serial does not end in 95 or 96 it is not a recall gun. I’d recommend two White Hots pellets and a PowerBelt 295 AeroTip or a PowerBelt AeroLite 250. Good shooting, Dudley

Jake: You’ll love the APEX! It is an incredibly accurate gun because of the Bergara Barrel, which comes standard on all CVA Apex and Accura models. Bill, I have seen the 12g Double CVA Shotguns sell for as little as $350 to as high as $550. With yours being new and i suspect new condition, $500-$600 is right around the area I would start asking.
